Its been a rough couple of years for the once resplendent Lookout Pack -- the first documented Washington wolf pack in more than 70 years. Still, with at least two remaining wolves and a resurgence of wolf activity state-wide, the "dream" is alive and well. With due respect to the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Backcountry Thor

Thor, like so many skiers in the area, is psyched by the new snow that is finally starting to add up in the Cascades. Nothing massive mind you, but enough to flame the fires and stoke the grin. This, like the "Nordic Thor" posted earlier was among my pre-holiday commissions in mid-December. Stay tuned for more Harts Pass original art in the days and weeks ahead!
