A sporty post for you on this fine Tuesday eve. First off, we celebrated the inaugural running of the
Winthrop Road Marathon with last week's strip. It was a beautiful day and the entire
Harts Pass staff was out on the course in one form or another. After providing color commentary at the start, Melanie and Roxie even pitched in by delivering a load of clothing to the finish. Beautiful weather and an excellent post-race meal should ensure that this is an event on many running calendars for years to come!
The Harts Pass Soccer Club also saw its first action of the season! The pitch was ragged, and match a little rough, but like good little wolverines we fought hard and held our heads high until the finish. I'll get some action shots to post next week. Grrrr!
